Jakarta, November 17-20, 2022, the Wisanggeni-19 Team represented Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in the Kompetisi Bangunan Gedung Indonesia in the precast concrete category. The team consists of Suryatama Ageng Pamuji/S1-Civil Engineering and Eka Nur Wahyu Setyorini/S1-PTSP with supervisor Dr. Ir. Slamet Widodo, ST., M.T. ASEAN Eng. IPM. The competition phase begins with registration and submission of proposals in May 2022. The proposal announcement stage was being held on July 8, 2022, via the Puspresnas website. The Wisanggeni-19 team succeeded in becoming one of the finalist teams that eliminated 84 teams from universities throughout Indonesia in the Precast Buildings Category.

The Wisanggeni-19 team carried out preparation and fabrication for 4 months, starting from July - November 2022. The preparatory stages consisted of selecting materials, testing materials, making reinforcement, molding, casting elements, and quality control. The Wisanggeni-19 team used environmentally friendly materials by utilizing fly ash from the combustion of PLTU which is used as a substitute for cement in the manufacture of concrete and innovating methods with self-compacting concrete to speed up the construction process.

The final stage will be held on 17-20 November 2022 at Tarumanagara University, Jakarta. On the first day, November 17, 2022, the team registered arrivals and loaded in logistics to the competition location. On November 18, 2022, Wisanggeni-19 conducted an offline presentation of building models. The Wisanggeni team explained about building planning that is environmentally friendly, earthquake resistant, and suitable for implementation in metropolitan cities. At the presentation stage, the Wisanggeni-19 team was tested by Dr. Retno Anggraini, ST., MT. from Brawijaya University, Dr. Daniel Christianto, S.T., M.T. from Tarumanagara University, and Dr. Riawan Gunadi, S.T., M.T. from Bandung State Polytechnic.

On November 19, 2022, the building assembly competition stage was held at the Tarumanagara University Campus GOR. At this stage the Wisanggeni-19 team succeeded in completing the structural and architectural assembly in third place with a total duration of 170 minutes. As for the last day, November 20, 2022, it will be a weighing and testing session for the building. The results of the Wisanggeni-19 team's building weight test were 19.40 kg and managed to stand firm during the earthquake test with a frequency of 5.5 Hz. Based on the results of the recapitulation of the evaluation of the competition, the Wisanggeni-19 Team, Universitas Negeri succeeded in winning the Special Category for Creativity in Design and 1st Place in the Indonesian Building Competition in the Precast Concrete Category.
