The UNY team was named Bimasena OJT, consisting of 3 members, Lilin Eria Armi, Ibnu Pandu Adjie Nugroho, and Crelfhin Nugraha Putra Samudra with Supervisor Maris Setyo Nugroho, M.Eng. Our team's preparations began in January by making proposals which would later be selected as many as the 8 best teams in Indonesia. On March 18th, the announcement of the finalists came, and one of the finalists was from UNY with the name Bimasena OJT team.

On March 25th, the team left for the Politeknik Negeri Jakarta and immediately checked in to the hotel and also checked the goods by the committee, in the morning the activities took place, namely technical meetings and also presentations for each team, the next day on March 27th 2019 a bridge assembly round was held by all finalists who took place in the civil engineering field of the Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, and the last day was closing as well as awarding to all participants.

Out of the 6 championship categories, the UNY team won the fastest assembly and the most realistic bridge category. The fastest assembly took 54 minutes out of the total 4 hours provided by the committee. This competition was attended by a total of 40 registrants from all over Indonesia and there were only 8 teams that would advance to the final round. In the final round there were only 1 university, 2 polytechnics and 1 institute, namely Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta with 1 team, Politeknik Negeri Semarang with 2 teams, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta with 2 teams, and the Institut Teknologi 10 November with 3 teams.
