Tuesday, 02 August 2022 The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has issued Surat Edaran Nomor 05/SE/M/2022 atas perubahan Surat Edaran Nomor 03/SE/M/2022, concerning Guidelines for Extension of the Validity of Work Skills Certificates and Skills Certification Work in the field of Construction Services and Work Competency Certification Process. Balai Jasa Konstruksi Wilayah IV Surabaya in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta through the Ikatan Alumni Sipil held Additional Technical Guidance and Competency for Graduates and Prospective Graduates before attending SKK level 6, with 124 participants from PTSP , FT, UNY and 20 students from STIE YKPN. This activity was carried out offline at the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education for 3 days, from 2-4 August 2022.

This activity began with remarks by Mr. Eddy Irwanto, S.T., M.Tech. as the Head of the Balai Jasa Konstruksi Wilayah IV Surabaya, followed by remarks by Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono, M.Sc., M.T., Ph.D. as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and accompanied by Dr. Nuryadin Eko Raharjo, M.Pd. as the Coordinator of the Civil Engineering and Planning Education Study Program. This activity was also attended by Mrs. Ir. Dwi Wahjoeni Soesilowati, M. Arch. as Chairman of the Sekolah Tinggi Arsitektur YKPN Yogyakarta, Dr. Ir. Triwahyu Hardianto, S.T., M.T. as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Jember, and Mr. Galeh NIPP as chairman of IAS. This program was realized through the cooperation that has been established between IAS and the Balai Jasa Konstruksi Wilayah IV Surabaya, PUPR.

On the first day of activities, material related to the Construction Services Law was delivered by Dr. Ir. Surya Budi Lesmana, M.T., Contract Administration by Mr. Wisnu RP, M.Pd., and Goods and Services Procurement System by Mr. Galeh NIP Pratama, M.Pd. On the second day, Mr. Ir. Adiwibowo, M.T., Environmental Quality and Project Management and Introduction of Precast Concrete and Supervision of Precast Construction by Dr. Tania Edna Bhakty, M.T., and Introduction to the Implementation of Precast System Installation by Dr. Hery Kristiyanto, M.T. On the third day, Mr. Setya Winarno, Ph.D. delivered Quality Control on Construction Work, Schedulling on Construction Work by Mr. Ir. Dian Eksana W, M.Eng., BIM (Building Information Modeling) by Mrs. Ika R.S., M.Eng. as well as Reinforcing and Formwork by Mr. Ir. Widarto S., M.T. This certification activity is a provision facility for the future to enrich the knowledge in the field of construction and share experience in carrying out activities in the Construction Services Industry. This program is a follow-up program implemented by IAS with a total of no less than 500 students and alumni who have been certified starting in 2017. It is hoped that in the next year, more students and alumni can be certified according to the competencies needed in the world of work according to priority programs University.
