The Civil Engineering and Planning Student Association, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta once again held a National Seminar with the theme "Implementation of BIM in High-Rise Building Construction Planning to Increase Work Efficiency and Effectiveness" on November 12 2016 at the KPLT Building Floor 3, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This event was held thanks to the collaboration between the Civil Engineering and Planning Student Association (HMTSP) and the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering and supported by the Ikatan Alumni Sipil  (IAS) FT UNY and the Rancang Bangun Division (DRB). This National Seminar is a series of events from the Civil Explosion (CEo) activity which contains two major activities namely the Lomba Rancang Bangun Jembatan and the National Seminar. This time the National Seminar was delivered by two speakers, the first session speaker was brought by Kharis Alfi from PDW Architects, the IAI-Jakarta Education, Study and Research Agency with the material "BIM Methodology and Challenges of Its Implementation in Indonesia", then the second speaker was Edwin Gunawan as BIM Training & Consultant Manager PT. Sistem Solusi Geospasia with the material "BIM Structure for Engineer High Rise Building". This series of events was held with the aim of introducing and facilitating creativity in civil engineering to students and the public.
