PTSP FT UNY HELD CURRICULUM DISCUSSION WITH MALAYSIA UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MALAYSIA

Civil Engineering and Planning Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (PTSP FT UNY) held a curriculum discussion with Dr. Asnul Dalhar Minghat from Study Program of Bachelor of Technology with Education (Building Construction), Department of Technology and Engineering Education, Faculty of Social Science & Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) online on 9 December 2020. This discussion is an implementation of the agreement signed by both parties. Prior to this activity, various collaborative activities had been implemented in the form of visiting professors and joint research and publications.

This curriculum discussion is expected to increase the readiness of PTSP FT UNY in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), where with the enactment of the MBKM it is hoped that learning opportunities will become wider for PTSP FT UNY students to study off campus, both at domestic and abroad higher education institutions, or in the world of work, industry and in society in order to achieve more adaptive, relevant and quality graduate competencies.

The collaboration between the two institutions is expected to continue to be developed towards equality of quality and the principle of mutual respect. PTSP FT UNY continues to work together with various foreign tertiary institutions with the aim of improving the performance of higher education programs, generating added value for improving the quality of education, establishing collaborations in an innovative, creative, synergistic, and complementary manner so as to provide added value in terms of improving the quality of higher education and can provide equal benefits for both parties and can be implemented in a sustainable manner.
