BLUE-GREEN SUSTAINABILITY CONSTRUCTION BY UTILIZING RAINWATER AND HOUSEHOLD WASTEWATER USE FOR MAINTAINING WATER AVAILABILITY IN KULON PROGO

Students from the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education continue to contribute to research and technology, as was done by the Baruna Team from the divisi rancang bangun UNY, who succeeded in becoming the favorite winner in the ITS Cinnertion D'village 2021 competition held by the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. This competition was held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In this competition, Baruna's team competed with 90 other teams from universities across Indonesia. After going through the proposal abstract selection stage, the Baruna Team was declared to have passed the final along with 10 teams from other universities. Baruna's team was one of the teams that made it to the final with members Novarida Nurul S, M. Fajar Amir, and Raden Rara Bintang P. H.

In the ITS Cinnertion D'village 2021 competition, the Baruna team created a work entitled "Blue-Green Sustainability Construction by Utilizingrainwater and Household Wastewater Use for Maintaining Water Avaibilability in Kulonprogo". This work discusses innovations in the use of rainwater and household wastewater to maintain and increase the potential of groundwater and surface water and will support regular maintenance and protection of water resources to prevent environmental damage so as to create a better environment. Through this work, the Baruna team managed to win the favorite title in the competition and managed to make UNY proud at the national level.
