Today's technological developments are increasingly showing significant movements. Competition in the world of work, especially in the construction sector, is also getting tighter. In order to equip PTSP students to be able to compete globally, a program is needed that can provide provisions to students to answer these challenges. Ikatan Alumni Sipil (IAS) is here to provide assistance to active students and alumni from the Civil Engineering and Planning Education Department so that later they can compete in the real world of work. One form of business from IAS is by presenting SKA and SKT certification.

The presence of this certification is a form of concern from IAS in order to contribute to the progress of the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. As IAS has done since 2017-2019, it has held SKT certification in various areas of expertise. These expertise include; Draftsman, Superintendent of Buildings, Building Implementers, and Road Work Executors with a total of more than 300 certified students. This activity cannot be separated from the collaboration that has been established between IAS, PTSP, BPTK PUPR, Center for Construction Services Region IV Surabaya and LPJK DIY. It is hoped that this collaboration can provide fresh air to PTSP, FT, UNY alumni to be leading in the Business World and Industrial World in accordance with the competencies they already have.
