The Bimasena 1617 Team from the Rancang Bangun Division (DRB) of the UKM Rekayasa Teknologi, won the Fastest Assembly Category, Most Complete K3, and 3rd Place in the ITS Dynamic Load Bridge Design Competition on 26–29 September 2018 in Surabaya. In this competition the Bimasena 1617 Team consisted of Wahyu Bagas P. (2017), Aris Wisnu (2017) and Mahsya P (2015) from the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education.

This competition is an annual competition participated by the Bimasena Team of UKM Rekayasa Teknologi, Rancang Bangun Division. This achievement was achieved thanks to very thorough preparation and various bridge assembly trials which were contested with supervisor lecturer Dian Eksana Wibowo, M.Eng. The hope is that for the next competition it will still be able to provide more achievements to bring the good name of the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
