Learning Outcomes

Bachelor of Education in Civil Engineering and Planning Education UNY formulated the programme learning outcomes (PLO) based on government policy, vision and mission of the university and degree programme, and feedback from stakeholders. In general, the PLOs  cover domains: attitude, knowledge, specific skills, and generic skills which are specified as follows:

Attitude
1. Believe in God Almighty and showing a religious attitude
2. Uphold human values in carrying out duties based on religion, morals and ethics
3. Contribute to improving the quality of life in society, nation, state, and advancement of civilization based on Pancasila
4. Acting as citizens who are proud and love the country and having nationalism and a sense of responsibility to the state and nation
5. Respect the diversity of cultures, views, religions and beliefs, as well as the original opinions or findings of others
6. Work together and have social sensitivity and care for the community and the environment
7. Obey the law and discipline in social and state life
8. Internalize academic values, norms and ethics
9. Demonstrate an attitude of responsibility for work in their field of expertise independently
10. Internalize the spirit of independence, struggle and entrepreneurship.
Knowladge
1. Master the concepts and principles of technology and vocational education, curriculum, learning and assessment of Civil Engineering and Planning Education
2. Master the management of education, training institutions, industrial training centers in the Civil Engineering and Planning Sector
3. Master the theoretical concepts of natural science knowledge and skills, mathematical applications for analysis and design in the Civil and Planning Field
4. Master theoretical concepts in the aspects of knowledge and skills in the field of Civil Engineering and Planning
5. Master issues and problems  to solve problems related to the implementation of Civil Engineering and Planning 
6. Master the concepts of business management and entrepreneurship in the fields of Civil Engineering and Planning
Generic Skills
1. Able to apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the context of developing or implementing science and technology that pays attention to humanities values based on field of expertise
2. Able to demonstrate independent, quality and measurable performance
3. Able to study the implications of the development or implementation of technology science by paying attention to humanities values based on scientific principles, procedures and ethics in order to produce solutions, ideas, designs or criticism by compiling scientific descriptions of the results of their studies in the form of theses or reports final project.
4. Compile a scientific description of the results of the study in the form of a thesis or final project report
5. Able to make decisions appropriately in the context of problem solving in their area of ​​expertise based on data analysis
6. Able to maintain and develop networks with mentors, colleagues, peers both inside and outside the institution
7. Able to be responsible for the achievement of group work results and to supervise and evaluate the completion of work assigned to workers under their responsibility
8. Able to carry out the self-evaluation process of the work group under their responsibility, and able to manage learning independently

1. Capable of planning, implementing and evaluating the learning process for the Civil Engineering and Planning fields

3. Capable of designing, realizing, testing, and assessing the performance of laboratory testing in Civil Engineering and Planning work.
